I have been painting for over thirty years, mostly for personal enjoyment. My former home, Southern California, had a variety of places and things that provided abundant subject matter for my paintings. My current style of acrylic landscapes is intended to be vivid color schemes in perspective views, especially of iconic locations. But, any challenging scene is a potential painting.
I now live in the Coconino Forest in the heart of the Arizona high desert, in an artist community rich with some of the most outstanding painters, sculptors, pottery makers, jewelers, and other specialists. I do not consider myself equal to these masters and intend to learn as much as I can from them.
I hope you enjoy my work. I always try to push myself to a more vivid realization of my intended goal - color and perspective in everyday life.
Thanks for looking around!
